Well, this is part 2 of that 12-piece portrait project. I wanted to see how well I could do a portrait in a sketchy style with brushes, and the result is...not very pretty, I know. At least I know what REALLY needs the most improvement in terms of semi-realistic portraits, and I would say that these are it:
- drawing with greater definition in cloth
- improve the shape of eyes (although I like how the coloring within the eye itself came out, particularly the left )
- EYELASHES!!
- consistently drawing shapes (it might sound silly, but drawing both eyes to be PRECISELY the same shape is a skill I'll need to work on )
- lips need to be improved quite a bit
- understanding where the light source is

Even though I'm not thrilled AT ALL with how this came out, if I just tucked it away and forgot about it, I don't think that'd be a good way to improve. Well, that's enough of me talking to myself! Thanks for stopping by and taking a look!
