Finally we get some good art, GOOD JOB!
they way you draw, the worlds you create, the feelings it evokes. that is the work of a true artist.
Not only is the art amazing and intricate, but the emotion and mood are well developed. I love the contrast between the victim's mask and present expression
Incredible.
the rays of light are very...very good.
the dream like effect you've managed to draw is quite intriguing.
I keep on looking at all the lines, trying to work out how you managed to draw them
and I just get pulled in deeper.
Nice work with the people. Nicely proportioned and drawn, although I had a hard time working the knife out from what I think is the collar of his jacket, which looks like a thin hand stroking her face.
but I worked it out eventually.
Macabre and poetic as always. You're a pure artist, dude.
Your art, my friend, is much better than most of paintings and drawings displayed in my city's museum, which happens to be the capitol of my state. Truly enjoyable, mainly because there are so many figures in this particular drawing, it takes a while to notice every little detail on this.
Good job, Karl. I'm looking forward for more submissions.
Fuoco
hell yes it's by laserkarl
i bet you did this really fast too, dang. i love the guy at the table. very creepy.
you realllllyyyyyy need to make speed painting videos :)
Karl Haggner is the best artist contributing to this place yet. His work never feels amateur or rushed, it always looks like it has something to say, and his style captures the strength of digital painting. This is an exemplary product of the qualities he champions in his portfolio. I look forward to more in the future from this man.
really looks like a horror movie
I couldn't help but think of the Masque of Red Death while lookig at this.
I like the smoky, Film-Noirish atmosphere given off by the lack of colour. The little details in the foreground as well as the silhouettes in the background really make the picture come to life.
I like the odd, mysterious feeling you get from the lighting and colors in the background, the characters are very detailed, and the expressions on their faces clearly resent a story. This is truly a work of art, nothing can better describe this than the word "perfect".
Amazing, this is probably the best art ive seen on newgrounds
no room for improvement.
very very good
congratulation
Oh, LaserKarl. You little genius, you. ;3
How could I ever critique this?
Because you can totally make up your own little story as to what's going on here. I just love how drained the color is...and the mist, as well. the guy sitting down with the grinning mask who is frowning is really interesting as well. This scene is so alive with death that I can't not like it.
