Conceptart for a class in school. It's been a while since I submitted anything here. I've been trying to render my images better. I should've spent more time on the background.

I love this! I can't put into words how amazing this is. You sir have talent! The reflections are really what makes this. You should feel proud!

Carried away by the reflections
A good play of light, shadow and reflection. I'm taking that the scene is just before closing time and just after a torrential downpour. Is that an inch, inch and a half of still water across the surface of the road? A little deep on a city street, as they tend to be very well drained.
Now, if you had had some scattered, shallow pooling of water (1/2 inch), and some interaction of the ashphalt on the edges of the pools, maybe the line of a cars' red-tail-lights and a splash and ripple as the car moves through the puddles, I would add that last point to your score.
Very easy to get carried away with the beauty of the reflection of the lights on the water. I know I enjoy seeing the lights of the city I live in reflected on the river, especially after a night out on the town. A minor discrepancy that does not detract too much from the scene's impact.

"Would you like to set this as background?" YES
Amazing, if I see it correctly you appear to have used images of trees in top-down view for the gravel-road. You did the stuff in the background with Illustrator, and the rest in either Coral paint or Photoshop.
Tell me where I'm wrong :P
Thank you!
The texture in the front is of ashpalt, stretched to fit the perspective.
All of the rest is made in photoshop, with massive use of layering, and with my own custom brushes. :)
