They say that it's curiosity
that killed the cat.
But I think it's a spark of wonder,
Mixed in with a dash of bravery,
With a tinge of innocent wonder;
All swirled together to make a savory sauce
In which to marinate life
In order to drive us further.
So it's not the curiosity that killed the cat.
It's those who frown upon adventure--
who would stomp on the Wonder,
and say that it's only for children--
who is to blame for the murder of something innocent.
