Jane Eyre Pheonix

Share

Inspired by the book Jane Eyre. There is a bird that's wings changes color and once it is freed it transforms from a normal bird into a phoenix. Of course this is a metaphor for "don't judge a book by its cover".

I really love this pheonix artwork! It's really gorgeous, bright, and colorful. I really like how it shows that the normal bird is still in the process of transformation near the tail area. This is really amazing and has a very special meaning to it! I don't really understand the ribbon (Is it a ribbon near the tail? Not sure...) but it adds a beautiful touch and can be translated to the bird being released and free as a ribbon. :)
