Ok this is another old project of mine.

This paint image is based off of the short story entitled "Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allen Poe. This is what I considered the Red Death to look like. If you want to read the story look it up.

Yours truly,

You're a fan of Edgar Allen Poe as well? :)?
Ah what a story. 7 rooms I believe? Red, Blue, Orange, Purple, Yellow, was there a green one? and a Black room I believe. Its been so long since I've read it...

I never could QUITE understand the story. Was the Masque of the Red Death a disease that worked its way into the castle, or was it a person who actually did kill him.. Ah I digress. Very well done :) I enjoy it. Its really outside the box of what most people would imagine it as.

Poe is kinda a big inspiration on me, but thats not saying much in today's world were every other goth kid quotes him.

Good interpretation.

It is a sign of a good imagination that you can visualize something from words so clearly. However, the character does not have very good anatomy. Or was this intentional?

KurtWilder2027 responds:

I see it as more of a spirit rather than a person.
