Sitting Renamon Plush

Share

So... I actually do a lot of work as a plush maker but never share it on Newgrounds. I'm never actually sure if anyone here wants to see it, if I should even submit it to the Art Portal, etc. Biting the bullet on this one and giving the Art Portal a shot.

This was a commission, and probably one of my most ambitious ones to date. Renamon sits at 18" tall from floor to the tips of the ears. The pattern was made from scratch. The plush itself is made out of minky fabric with faux fur on the chest, has machine-embroidered / appliquéd details, and satin-stitched zigzags.

pokymon :DD

This is professional level work,I've seen actual plushies of characters that are pretty crappy compared to this.

She looks so adorable just sitting there, the chest fluff and tail are the best :D

*GASP* Hell yes I want to see more! Plushie making is an awesome art form. I want to learn!

krissalus responds:

Hey, that's great to hear! I know it's cliche advice but practice does make perfect, and the more you try, the more you learn. Best of luck on your own projects! :)

Perfectly legit to show us hand-made and designed sculptures, plushes and such, and this one really shows a lot of talent! Hope there's extra strong stitching around the base of the tail ;)

krissalus responds:

Thanks very much! I think I'll post some more plush work, mostly custom stuff as it gets finished, since I think that would be the most interesting for people. Thanks for the compliment on Renamon, though! And yes... lots of extra stitching around that tail :P
