Random lines and filters in GIMP. When I look at this picture I feel light, depth, and even motion. It really draws me in, like staring at a fire or the ocean waves, even though this is a still image. It makes me think of many things, such as hay loosely stacked in an old barn. What is this image to you?

I recently bought a new mouse for my computer. The package claimed that it had responsive, smooth motion, or something like that, so I decided to test drive it with GIMP. I just went crazy drawing lots of lines using slow and fast curved motions and it indeed performed much more smoothly than my previous laser mouse. Then I went crazy with filters and thus was this image born.
