I don't know why this has been stuck in my head for so long.

I'm not really even sure what to put as a description here, to be honest.

Time spent: Roughly 7 hours.
Photoshop CS5.1 and my Intuos.

Great composition. Really like the eye peeking out from the hair. You have a much better grasp at human anatomy than I. Keep up the great work.

This is incredible to look at, the bright eyes are just so damn piercing it's hard to look away! I love it so much but my only criticism would be that the head looks kind of detached from the shoulders, just considering the angle she's at and you can see her back a bit. Y'know?

Other than that tiny thing though, the tone is amazing and you've given it a nice depth with that background. Putting this in my favourites! :D
