style and color study 3

I decided to reinforce my skills with my new tablet by doing a series of paintings with the same original character in different styles, so this is basically what I was doing since december 2012.

In this final painting I eventually returned to harder cel-shading but I also took some techniques from the previous colorations. Her nose also has much more character now. I think I'll have to research eyes and mouths a bit more but aside from that I'm happy with it.

So sorry this took me so long to get to, I finally caught up to my PM's a realized there were 4 unread from a long time ago, this was one of them. That aside (SORRY!), this pic is fantastic! You have a really great style! I love it and look forward to seeing more! I'm so sorry for taking so long to get to this, I'm very impressed too which makes me feel even worse. Keep up the incredible work!

The mascot girl is my favourite character out of all your drawings,when you upgraded your tablet it really shows more improvement . You see a girl like this has a story of her own, not too obvious either, her theme in how she looks says it all.

I'm really liking these color studies! But more to the point: the proportions, level of detail throughout the piece and the poses you've done, really show some (improving) talent!
The mouth is a bit off, but the eyes are well composed, if a tad largish - good luck with the research.

I'm glad you see it that way, I feel like I've learned alot more than usual from these 3 pieces.
Her eyes unintentionally got wider to accomodate the larger nose I think - but I feel they have the right size for this style. Her left eye is a little bit too big though. I really need to get into mouths again, I can barely draw lips.
