So Matilda is in the circus to have some adventures sorta like in 'the little prince' but from a woman's perspective and on earth? Each character represents an archetype? That's just a guess...she's a freak but meeting all these other freaks that are freaky perhaps even to her....I dunno I'm just guessing what type story you're going for. Or the idea that we're all weird in our own ways?
I love your art, really it's a wonderful style. I hope this ends up in a real ink on paper published book. As a small graphic novel or humorous dark fairy tale if you or a partner have some good dialogue it could be a real hit.
