African Warrior

A warm-up i did while listening to Voodoo People from The Prodigy :P I really like African culture , i didnt focus on a single tribal design , just tried to draw some cool dude. I know some of his piercings are quite modern and couldnt be had by a real African Warrior but its a warm-up/study and i no cares^^ I'll make a more realistic one in the future.

This is brilliant! What programmes do you use to draw?

Thank you mate! Im using Sai and pscs5. Sai is perfect for inking and the linework looks much better than in ps. Also the watercolour and blur tool are love on first sight. Photoshop is perfect for doing colour corrections and adding some catcy effects like motion blur , heat distortion etc. For simple images like this one i dont use it at all but its very useful for my more complex illustrations. The best of two worlds hehe :)
