This friend of mine is very precious to me. She has had some shitty times in her life (too many if you ask me), and it still amazes me how she can be so positive most of the time. She laughs and smiles, even if she'd rather cry and be alone. She wants to be hugged, but then again doesn't want anyone's pitty on her. This amazing person is strong as hell mentally. I still can't believe how strong she is after all she's gone through. I love this cat more than enough. Hugs and strenght to you my dear friend! <3

Very touching.
While there may be more complicated and finer drawn art here on newgrounds, this is one of the only pieces I have ever seen that really got to me. The execution is flawless, perfect even.
The quote is just icing on the cake. It really adds a lot to the picture itself, and I'd very much like to know where it's from, or if you came up with it yourself. I'd love to use it as lyrics in a song I'm writing.

True enough.
I guess i just like it, duh. Not every day you find someone else who knows what it really is to be depressed, right? Not that i am....depressed that it... Just kinda sad-ish.

I actually went and became depressed a few times in my life. It is nowhere close to fun either though. The art here kind of makes you wish to cry as well which is what I am guessing you were aiming for right?
The background is real dark and I like the text at the bottom. I find it to be mostly true. Although sometimes depression is caused because you feel the world is leaving you behind and that no one will ever care about you either.
I like her headphones as well, they are the same kind that I have actually. Her ears look cute too even though they are drawn in a sad way as well. The clothing she is wearing dark which embraces the idea of being sadder than usual because of problems in life too.
The expression on her face and the tears coming from her eyes make you feel like giving her a hug and trying to be her friend so she won't be as sad.
Overall, a break from a lot of happy drawings you usually see here. Very nice drawing.
Whoa, I hope you're doing better now. Depression is not a fun thing.
