"Parody Rangers WIN"

date: July 25, 2009

Ansel, what kind of freaking moron are you? This "lazy piece of shit" as you called it could not have possibly taken such a short time. First off...the characters are original to begin with, so you got nothing on that. the title is meant to be a reference to Power Rangers in the first place, with the Power Rangers: The Movie title curving around (google it for reference)

Second, you probably have no idea what its supposed to be. Its related to his flash movie "Parody Rangers The Movie" (still in production, I hope XD)

Third, if you think this is such crap, such "mediocre work" then I'd like to see you come up with something better. This guy is a god at flash movies, music, and art. You can't even hold your own against his awesome skills.

Ok, now that I'm done flaming the troll...

If Parody Rangers were a real movie in theaters, I would definitely see this poster pretty much everywhere...hold on. I just thought of something. I don't think you ever did a trailer for the movie. That would be awesome! Just like a mock trailer for Parody Rangers: The Movie.

Well, my review is complete.

I personally think this is a good picture. However I have to say the Title could be better. It's hard to read and that's something you really want to make as clear as possible for promotional use.

Also a good thing to keep in mind with advertising or promoting is taking into account how a person will scan a pic with their eyes. Most people here will probably look at this pic starting from the upper left, then spiral inward toward the center. Most of your visual elements are in the right places, I recomend that you'd raise the characters behind Meat a bit and move him a little more to the left. That would make the pic easier to look at for most of the audience here.

That's all! Keep'em coming!

seriously, what is this? It's painful to look at. You've taken the most obnoxious default colors possible and jammed them together into something that is incredibly unappealing. The layout and placement of things is good in theory, but you've managed to screw it up pretty well--why is the red-haired fella cut off by the text? it completely destroys the dynamic 3D effect. Also, I can't help but notice that the other characters mysteriously disappear between his legs.

The title is confusing to read and looks terrible. Gradients are a novelty and should be used in moderation, and this is just an abuse of them. why did you use this strange, slapped together combination of perspectives and shapes? it's difficult to read and looks out of place, especially combined with the simply-rendered (but really idiotic) tagline. I just noticed that the tagline is off-center. Seriously, how many minutes (seconds?) did it take you to hack this together?

the shading is bizarre and doesn't really show any kind of light source. you appear to have given up entirely on making it even a parody of reality, and have instead decided to just wing it and scribble in some shadows with no regard for how light really works.

ugh i'm sick of writing, why did I do this
