Unlimited Link Legend

"Whether he triumphs or fails...no matter the era, the legend will continue."

This piece was done for the winner of the "Card Games for Charity" drive done by Martin Billany and Marianne Miller. One of the auctions was a free commission from myself and the winner graciously donated over $300! Their request was young and adult Link standing back to back playing their ocarinas. The background was inspired by the recently revealed official timeline, with three paths representing if "the hero is defeated" and the child and adult eras of "the hero is successful". Also I threw Navi in there since she helped tie up the composition nicely.

Ocarina of Time is my favorite Zelda game followed by Majora’s Mask.

The Hero of Time

OoT is my first game I played when I was four years old so it is very dear to my heart. I see in your art the love you have for it too. You're very talented and reach the stars while also warming hearts and bringing back a 90's kid a beautiful flashback of what launched my love of gaming and the enticing stories encrypted in games. (Excludes any Call of Shitty NoobMcMuffin camper games. No beauty in those since Cod World at War.)

It's wonderful that you made this piece for charity. It's the first time I've heard of you working on something like that. The ground is probably the best part. It shows great contrast. Of course, it's pretty easy to understand why I would like Link. Then again, you rechanged my design a bit.

I feel bad for not knowing much about the new games, much less playing them. I can still appreciate this work. You really do know a lot about the series mythology. The colors are as gorgeous as ever. You certainly waited until the end of the year for this.

What did adult link do, use a DeLoreon or something?
