Harrison MkII

Share

I had to go on a artwork killing spree in my profile to get this damn thing up.
guess there is an upload limit if your unscouted.

Since no one came up with a name I'm calling it the Harrison MK II.
it's still need of some detailing especially on the legs and it needs a paint job, I'll get it unwrapped later though.

So what do you guys think.

Awesome work on this Kensei.

Great job!

Looks like a mech from BF2142

Wowzorz!

The lighting is incredible!! Love the 3D effects; they look soo realistic! Cool mecha, dude. Next time maybe you could put in a background, or make the mecha move around or fire its weapons, since it would really bring out the lighting.

Needs some colours

The 3D model looks very nice and you put a lot of details in there. For example the joints look pretty good. But this picture is missing some colours which would add even more details to the picture. Also, a light source would be nice as well.
There are some shadows in it already, but some parts that are brighter than the other parts would give this model an even more realistic look, I think.

A little grey and boring

To be honest, the 3D skills are great. I love how you've captured the essence of what makes a mech read for games like BattleTech, MechWarrior and the like. The only thing that I really have an issue with is that the colour scheme is bland and un-inspirational. I think that this could certainly go down as a work in progress (Tick the sketch box on your submit page) until you've managed to get a good splash of colour going on that vehicle.

Again, it could certainly benefit from having a background and I think that while there is shading on the vehicle itself, there is little to show where shadows would be cast on the ground, or even a ground, so to speak. These touches make all the difference to a piece and as a result, you'll earn such a misrepresented score for an unfinished work like this.

Thanks for the compliment on the 3D my man. I have the Mech's repair bay up so feel free to hop on over and take a look, it has the paint on it that every one seems to want.
