Fantastic
Of course, I'm probably misinterpreting this, given the title. But here's what I thought when I saw this:
We never really see what's going in inside the minds of animals. We just look at the exterior, a cute pose, craning their necks toward the sky, or lying on their backs with their feet in the air...we may even invent a reason for their actions. But we don't know for sure.
They could be contemplating things we've never even thought to consider, important things. They could be staring at something beautiful we can't see because it's not real or maybe it's just outside the grasp of our perspective.
For that matter, we never even know what the people around us are thinking. From the stranger walking down the street to the lover we hold tight and whisper to, despite our best guesses we never know for sure what they're thinking.
How often have we missed something majestic, something magical or something mysterious because it was outside our perspective? Because we weren't looking at it the right way?
But there is a beauty in that thought as well. When the animals or fellow humans look at us, they never really see what we see. What have they missed because they don't share our perspective?
This, sir, is what you've made me think about with your art.
