Kendal is a flamboyant and gay and proud. He is a old childhood friend of Rong Kun and his family and has firmly decided that Rong Kun needs him in his life. Kendal likes to spend his time bathing and teasing Ni Lu whom he loves like a sister. Even though he desperately wants Rong Kun he completely supports Rong Kun and Ni Lu's relationship, though he will try to sneak in some alone time with Rong while Ni Lu's back is turned. Ni Lu finds Kendal's antics more funny then angering though they will annoy her from time to time when she wants her special nights with Rong. Rong dislikes the advances but remains a good friend to Kendal.
