chicken-saurus rex

Share

neo-tyrannosaurini gallus, or one might jokingly call, the chicken-saurus rex is indeed the descendant of chickens after the great quake. long after the cataclysm, most birds on the planet have evolved to resemble their prehistoric ancestors, many of them resembling half-raptors. some of them went through even further drastic changes, thus we have abominations like these.

the chicken-saurus rex has retained most of the characteristics of a tyrannosaurus such as its tail and head structure. although, very prominent differences can be seen. firstly, it has the red combs commonly found in the old world chickens, its body is covered in feathers especially the arms which still has the shape of a wing although incapable of any form of flight. at the end of its tail are several protruding feathers also resembling old world roosters.

the neo-tyrannosaurids of the main continent are larger than the ones depicted in this picture however most of them have more discreet colorations like reddish brown, yellow and green, or even black because they need to hide from predators even larger than themselves. predators that are not present in the secondary continent where the ecosystem is much tamer in comparison. The lack of larger foes has caused the white feathered varieties of tyrannosaurids there to keep its colorations

humans, being the ever-so arrogant species, refuses to live in fear of their former source of food. many nomads in the secondary continent still dares to hunt the tyrannosaurids. often using tactics such as luring them to open grasslands to then attack them with whatever arsenals were available.

the chicken-saurus rex provides valuable material such as clothes from their feathers, weapons made out of their bones and claws,

but mostly their meat are rich in proteins as well as other valuable nutrients and arguably, taste like chicken.
