Continuing my series of Captain N redesigns, here's SImon Belmont of Castlevania fame.
Simon really got the shaft in the old cartoon, where he was depicted as a blonde-haired, egotistical braggart and a bungler. For a kid who LOVED Castlevania this was simply unacceptable. So, yeah, my version of Simon takes the physique of the old 'toon and combines it with Konami's Belmont designs from Castlevania Chronicles.
As for attitude, I think it would be far more interesting (and funny) if Simon was a total badass that takes himself and his world WAY too seriously (almost like the "Brock Samson" of the N-team) as opposed to the "handsome and dumb" Simon of the cartoon. Thoughts?
Anywho, next is Princess Lana, Heir to the Kingdom of Video Land.

Thats how Simon SHOULD have looked like. The one in the show looked like a airplane pilot who was too self absorbed.

THAT is a Belmont. I remember how Simon looked in the show, but this guy right here..doesn't prance around.
