Wow, thanks for the frontpage!
This is a portrait/caricature of my friend Katie. It was one of my first experiments with digital painting. The disproportionate features were an artistic choice. I wanted to present an impression of her, not an exact duplicate.

Well executed
Overall the painting is very well doneâEU"your technique is impeccable so I won't go into that too much.
I will suggest that your caricature has dived pretty severely into the uncanny valley, in that it's rendered very realistically but has terrifyingly cartoon proportions. In other words, it's realistic enough in execution that the exaggeration of features comes off as less whimsical and more frighteningâEU"imagine meeting this thing in real life.
It's very well done, but it's creepy as all get-out. If that wasn't your aim you may wish to re-evaluate your combination of styles.
