Is that Earth? =S

The mountain terrain on the impacted planet looks like to be in the position of the Himalayas, further evidence is the large landmass around it, perhaps suggesting Asia.
The planet on the far distance would be Venus, with no visible moon because it has no moons; and the bright point, the Sun.
And the surface from where the perspective is taken would be the moon, as its dusty surface would coincide.

Its also interesting the angle and direction of the impact, since most impact scenarios (in movies and past impacts) almost always happen perpendicular to the Earth's rotation and on the Solar system's X-Axis.
Very interesting, most people dont even consider impacts coming from that direction, but then again, there isnt many telescopes near the poles.
Its impact point would suggest Northern Canada, if that mountain range is indeed the Himalayas.

Another clue would be the name itself. "Destruction Upon Us ".
So either youre speaking on the behalf of some unknown alien race or youre talking about us, as in us, humanity and all living things on Earth.

But then again, I could be totally wrong and that just some planet with neighbors and features that are simply similar to Earths.

PS: I love the painting, almost all your space paintings. (Not so much the robots..)
But I agree with the review below. The frame just killed the sense astonishment.
So 9/10 and 4/5 buddy.
