Doesn't remind me of Halo at all...
...it reminds me of Stephen King's "Dark Tower" series, where the eponymous Tower is the lynchpin of the infinite girating multiverse. Check that stuff out, as well as Jae Lee´s comic book artwork, maybe it'll give you (further) inspiration. ;-)

hell yeah good work. This reminded me of halo and half-life 2. halo because of the darkness around and kinda of the destruction below. half-life because of the citdel in the chapter, "a red letter day"

nice painting :) .... as for the person below... I dont think blue would have worked :S ... it might have clashed too much.
