Woman

I wanted to do something, quick! So I made this woman, with big cheeks - as you can see, with a lot of smudge! And I know people said that I should only use brush, but.. I want to be a rebel, so.. I only use smudge (.. of course besides of the colors I have brushed on ;)). I really want to learn some day, how to make the art look awesome only with brush, but I guess I never gonna learn it..

She took me about an 1 - 1½ hour to make, and I'm satisfied with the result!

But peeps on NG, what do you think of my quick work? Am I improve, or just hopeless?

Sorry for the bad English

Nothing I have seen before, i love the slight contrast with the white shading.

I saw there were no comments on this piece so I thought I would give you some feedback (being an artist myself I know it is helpful to receive feedback). The way you manipulated the textures and colours her skin seem as if she was created from an amalgam of light, wind, and liquid as if she has transcended humanity and become something more. The moist surface of her eye gives the impression of reflection and life; it is almost as if she is watching the blinding sunrise of another world and the light begins to engulf her and her surroundings. I very much enjoy this piece (as you can tell ;) and would love to see you continue to create. Regarding your specific technique of smudging,it has intrigued me and I might start to incorporate such techniques as well. 5/5 all the way.
