This is really cute! You have really captured the anime style really well. Your detail in the clothes and shading looks great, it kinda looks like an anime cover art or something. His fingers look a bit strange tho, kinda like alien fingers. But I don't blame you, hands are really hard (for me anyway so your hands probably looks way better than any of mine lolz).
I like the background,too, it just seems to go with him, and i like the way you put a larger pic of him in the back , that looks nice.

Awww I have to show this to my sisters!

This guy is adorable! I also think that the triangles are shading. Though I'm not super familiar with zangoose besides it being fast and normal type. I personally don't see it as useful in battle.
