Emerging from the rainy depths into the bright morning, the long awaited reinforcement, the terror among the opposing forces, the silent hunter.

A3 paper, lineart with fineliner, scanned. Shadows and coloration with PS CS 5 and Intuos 4.

Very nice! Reminds me of the navy in Howls Moving Castle.. perhaps these would be pirates.

Ah yea, I loved the designs in this. It is unbelievable that they ANIMATED stuff that was even more detailed than this.

the whole thing looks like a sketch,work on smooth lines, you'r trusting on your digital brushes too mutch..
I also offer you to try make you drawings on canvas with real colors\paint, your 'art' will look better that way.

I used to paint with acrylics before I moved to my flat, but I had to put that on hold because it takes too much space and I have no place to let the images dry and to apply base colors on the woods etc.

I made my own cloud brushes from selfshot photos to rely on them.
