First a little about the picture.

I've called it "Round 2, Fight!" to indicate that the dragons and the kitten have fought before. The kitten seems to have no care in the world, indicating that it won the first round. Hope you all like it.

And here's a link to the drawing in progress:

So I've made this account solely to participate in Jazza's drawing challenge.... but you never know this might where I post my drawings from now on.

hey that´s a really good work. Next time open category? ;) great idea too...

Kaital responds:

Thanks man :) I was really in doubt whether I should choose open or beginner, but this being my first competition ever (with drawings) I figured I would start in the beginner bracket, and then move my way up :)

Also in the other competitions, the ones in the open bracket seem to have been waaaaaay over my league, so I got scared :P

Thought this was digital at first. Pretty solidly done piece.
Something rubs me the wrong way about how you've done their necks (especially the black one - it's like there's no distinction between it's cranium and the spine) but otherwise very admirable work!

Dam, the closer to deadline - the more solid works are starting to crop up in the entries! Haven't finished mine yet, but good luck to you m8.

Kaital responds:

I see what you mean regarding the neck/back thing... tbh it's not my greatest work, and I have to admit I've never drawn a dragon from that angle, which made things a bit more difficult :)

Thanks for the feedback though :)

And good luck to you as well :)
