Become one, Da?

Kabashi, this photo is of the personification of Russia, a character of Axis Powers Hetalia. In the manga, the author (Hidekaz Himaruya) gives each character stereotypes that go along with its country that s/he represents. One of these stereotypes for Russia/Ivan is his abnormally large nose, hence why he is drawn with one.

Might just be an opinion, but personally, I think the lips are fine. The hair's unusual though, I don't usually see it drawn in that style, but it fits nonetheless! Eyes are beautiful, much better than how I see people draw them. Love the sunflowers too~ and I know it doesn't mean crap, but I'm part Russian~! And German, and Polish, and Swiss, and oh geez....

Missed or Hit.....coin flip.

I can either hate if, ignore it, care for it, or just clap my hand and go down memory lane with this. I'll just go all of above. This remind me when I first starting out drawing cartoon characters, but it all-way turn out either the neck don't match the head, the finger don't look right, etc. Anyway, first then first; I like the colors you've picked here. The color relationship in here help the other color out by brightening the face, and mostly the eyes.

Now what I disagree with this picture. I don't understand why the nose is too big for the face? The lips kinda like its not there and the eyes look little bit more feminine. If you've cut half the nose in half and hair, there would be a complete beautiful picture here. Anyway, keep up the good work.
