Xavier is an old crippled man. Why does he need some sort of battle tank wheel chair?

My version of Professor Charles Xavier's wheelchair.
Done on 3Ds Max & ZBrush.

lol well he wasn't always old. bet he had a younger, less docile phase. guess this was for the time he may have spent on the field.
Definitely a cool piece. I could see this fitting in with the X-men universe. I like how you added a computer screen to the chair. When he's not fighting Magneto, the good professor can now check his facebook, twitter, school roster, and keep an eye on his appointments with Logan.
I'd like to see more work like this, perhaps offer us your take on some of Batman's toys.

Not a bad suggestion and i am an avid fan of Batman but it's been done quite a bit u know. well i guess another version can't hurt right :)
When i see this i think less of Xmen and more of Pimp My Ride for Stephen Hawking

how...i'm not quite sure how to answer that. i'll say this though. there was no plan or sketch - just kept adding in parts till it wound up looking like this. so i guess u could call this a 3d doodle.
