Love it just got thrown off by the pink. It's amazing just seems weird cuz its all kinda dark then the light colors come in. Good job though.

The Cat in the Hat

This reminds me of that children story "Cat in the Hat" type of art. Never was much of a fan of his, but great work anyway.

JWBalsley responds:

Thanks a lot, it's interesting how many people say that my stuff reminds them of Dr. Suess even though I never try to emulate him consciously.

Cheers!

Nice!

I love your style and themes.
I like this one, but one thing I think it's improvable is the asymmetry of the two trees, right now they flatten the composition a bit.
It also reminds me of the first level of Machinarium!

JWBalsley responds:

Thanks that is a good observation, it would indeed look better if the tree trunks were the same. I'll have to check out Machinarium.

Cheers

wow

it really reminds me of something out of a Dr. Suece book O.o (and yea i probably spelled the name wrong)

JWBalsley responds:

Thanks JLPcinaster, a few people have also said that it remned them of Dr. Suess, I'm telling you it's all subconscious ha ho! But seriously, thanks again.

Cheers!
