I always draw from left to right with my right hand and have an easier time making these dudes face to the left. That last bit could be a bad habit. I drew the skeleton robot before realizing the one I would draw next to would be the cool type that needs a big gun. The gun I gave to the cool one has a longer lower rail like some sort of aircraft catapult mechanism or something.
I may consider recycling the cool robot's upper half and putting it on different legs. What I like most about the big one is its large back mounted cannon.
