Calypso's scifi armor

Share

This is one of many anthro furry drawings I had a while ago but withheld due to being pruned/unscouted and because I noticed some artists here would go out of their way to say they arn't furry when they draw Krystal from Star Fox.

This is a recent variant of an old gift art. Character use requires permission from owner in link below.
Calypso belongs to Mayameow. Ref sheet; http://www.furaffinity.net/view/18650362/

The boots where changed to be open on the bottom half with the top and side pieces held in place by a micro frame. Bellow those top and side plating are the character's paws which have a distinct white stripe and white claw color pattern. Part of designing the boots to be open at the bottom was to utilize the paws natural abilities with outdoor survival and mobility. Another reason for it was to meet the conditions of a deviantart groups standereds against allowing cyborgs and how the original boots looked too much like cyborg legs.

This was made using colored pencils (very sparingly for the white black and blue color scheme) and digital touch up and light colors with the picsart app. The legs are animal like and the left arm is holding another pistol and facing the viewer.

Lastly, a notable detail on the armor is that The lower abdomen plating with the words "made in hell" are meant to reflect her tattoo on that spot. It was hard to wright that small. I like that feature though since it's like a reverse tramp stamp. Her tattoo doesn't symbolize anything specific, it was just part of an adopt.

2nd post since being rescouted.
