Medieval House

Share

I have always loved the look of the medieval house. I am also more interested in modeling for gaming which often require medieval assets. I made this 3D model for both the love of the style and to gain more experience in making game assets.

Tools: Blender 2.7

nice. could do with a background

jsabbott responds:

Thanks. This is an old model but maybe I will update it with a background. Thanks for the suggestion. :)

Very neat, I like the little touchs such as the detail on the corner bricks and the supports under the wooden ledges.

I personally would have given the texture on the white and grey exterior more depth to achieve a rougher, more medieval look, a wooden texture for the struts would have been good too. Maybe make the windows transparent. It's a pain (or pane. Get it?) but I think the soild light blue windows look can really ruin a 3D model.

A good, clean model. You should be proud of it.

jsabbott responds:

I had actually planned on using hand-painted textures for this model but they just did not look right at all. Hopefully at some point in the near future I will re-do these models with either hand-painted textures or real-world textures.

very clean!

jsabbott responds:

Thanks!
