the butcher of corridor four

Share

the king leviathan is the galaxies largest battle cruiser. so massive is the king leviathan that it runs on a steady diet of small planets and supernovas. it was foolishly created by the crebbins of crebula. their complete lack of foresight left the king leviathan fuel starved during their first mission after someone plugged in the microwave and the coffee maker at once.

the giant ship has been hurtling through space with barley enough power to sustain its millions upon millions of crewmen. the lack of power also effected the ever-important "space-sanity" modulators that maintains the crew's sanity level in the deep reaches of space.

once the space-crazies had a firm grip on the crew they quickly became very territorial towards the many sectors of the battleship. creating tribes of workers and pilots who crazily climbed up the ranks of madness through self-promotion and cannibalism.

winky was a technical-maintenance alien in corridor 4 who lost his eye-stalk during a particularly tragic run in with another crazy crew-man. he is known to the remaining crew as "the butcher of corridor 4" stalking the hallway with "screwy" a modified wrench-hammer who winky considers his only true friend. he also has a few doses of "bot-shots" nano-machine dosages that can't heal back lost appendages entirely but manage to stop bleeding and heal up some of the more severe wounds.

life on the king leviathan is a horrible nightmare of psychotic space-men fighting ruthlessly over the last bits of remaining power that exist throughout the broken hallways. as the population of the ship dwindles due to its self destructive nature, the crew becomes more and more sane as the space-sanity modulators stabilize on the smaller crew. this results in a pretty tragic wake up call for all those involved.

modified wrench hammer.

That was the first thing that caught my attention when I saw this. Then I asked, "How are those screwdrivers attached to the wrench hammer?" It can't just be tied with rags or wire, right? It has to be secure and solid when bashing in the heads of your fellow snail-people, right? Can't be vicious with a flimsy weapon!

jouste responds:

that's right yoot!

you need a mean weapon to smash in those mean slugmen!

thanks for the review!

Yikes, that spaceship must be a warzone!

Winky is a poor guy. I feel sorry for him. His only friend is a hammer wrench with blood and guts in it. He should manage a way to escape the ship. Hmmm, maybe a secret escape pod? Man, that would be a great comic... Must think about this...
Really awesome alien, armor and weapon design man! And coloring too. Be a cyclops-snail-alien must be tough!

jouste responds:

haha you bet!

life IS hard for an injured snail alien. it's cool that you want winky to escape the ship, i don't know how well he would adapt to modern life but it's good to know that he would have you as a pal!

Great!

Hah! That's fantastic! A bit on the odd and freaky side but it'd be a cool character for a goofy kind of villian or creep.

A+ Sir ;)

jouste responds:

thanks for the high score pal! glad you like him.

an A+!? i'll have to hang that on my fridge!
