stomps the bounty hunter!
here's stomps! he's got a savage "club-shot" that can cudgel or blast a hole through his opponents and 2 pairs of yellow goggles in case one breaks down. now being a spine-banded ky'rxx, stomps is nigh invulnerable and can go for months without any food or internet (a true galactic survivor). stomps only takes the "wanted dead" bounty's because its against his ky'rxxian culture to not kill anything that's running from him.
the speed-slug is a typical hunting companion to many a space bounty hunter. speed-slugs are actually out of phase with the current time line and when on the prowl, appears as a vicious blur as it slides its way through a few dimensions in fractions of of a nano-second.
speed slugs are ultra vores that are able to eat both anything existent and non-exsistent. this comes in handy when slugging thier way through more of the stranger dimensions.

Id rate higher if I could..it really is such an epic piece...the character design is spectacular on this as well as your other work..The backstory only further emphasizing the attention to detail and well thought out composition..the characters balance well with the background as well as with eachother..they definately look like they're ready to hunt something down together..and I simply loved the whole bit about his extra pair of goggles..

this guy was drawn on a 4x6 intuos 3. i started in sketchbook pro and colored him in photoshop then overlayed some textures on him. hope that answwers your question!

For one, I wanted to congratulate your for having not one, but TWO front-paged art submissions, and two, I want to critique this work. I really apprieciate the fact that you love your pieces and characters enough to give them their own stories. It really makes them more lively to me, and I feel like they are real people, instead of just a drawing on the computer.
Your eye for detail never ceases to amaze me, and this is no different. The piece has that signature cartoony feel to it, while maintaining the beauty and grace of a piece of fine art. It is this uncanny, brilliant combination that makes me really love this one, and the creativity and originality is spectacular.
Good luck with future pieces, and I hope to see you taken in as a concept artist by a major game company someday.

it's true, i do love my characters, and i want them to be seen by tons of people so they can love them too! i draw so many different ones because i want everybody to be able to like at least one of them.
i don't really agree that my stuff can be classified as fine art but that's a really nice thing to say so thanks for that.
i'd love to be a concept artist, but the problem is is that not a lot of game companies want zany crap like this, and the ones that do already got amazing dudes to do them!
oh well, great to hear from you as always and i'll get back on doing up some more cool characters! really glad you dig them!
