hooray for contests!
it's that sneaky mr.fish! scourge to the family man who wrote the halloween art contest story! here we see him in his space-fishian regalia frantically running away from his second visit!
but wait... what's that embedded in his skull? why it's the fabled ice axe the narrator warned mr.fish about! poor mr. fish, all he wanted to do was comment on the narrator's wife and child. i guess earth just isn't ready for overly-friendly space-fish.
done up for the halloween art contest. lots of fun, hope you guys like it!

it's an iceaxe, the one that was mentioned in the contest's story. the narrator said he'd bury the ice-axe into his head or something.

I love all of your art, it is very crisp, yet has a great amount of detail! Mr. Fish must have a thick skull for having not dying of ice pick head trauma.... Haha.

i love how this picture tells us soo much of what could of happend or what he can be running from.
hes crying =( feel bad for him i can see the worry in his eyes. fishman
and in one of your comments you said you never claimed it was a fish but you did it says "Mr.fish" on the picture.

lol, oh come on! a mr. blue isn't a blue! and a mr. cheese isn't a cheese! it's just his name! xD
anyways the narrator calls him mr.fish on the last few lines of the story so that's why it is tiled as such. thanks for the high review!

yeah he really is a kind man-fishian, the world is just not quite ready for friendly man-fishians. and billy and mandy is a pretty great show. i can't recall if i've seen jeff the spider though...

I really liked how you characterized this fish man. It makes him seem like a more fragile and lovable creature, and it's sad that someone would dig a pickaxe into his head. I am still loving how you put so many emotions into your characters, and I hope to see you in more contests in the future!

you have no idea how sad i felt for this guy while i was drawing him. and the contests are so easy to find here i'll be more than happy to enter them! they are loads of fun and its cool to be able to work on such a variety of stuff.

I really mean stupid fishy. I mean, come on, what do you expect sneaking around someone's bed where their wife and child are sleeping. Anyways, hopefully fishy man survived atleast to learn his lesson. I know I would never sneak around someone's bed and then expect them to act peacefully LOL.

With every entry i see for this contest, i just end up feeling bad for the fish man.
Granted, i doubt he'll make it to far with that axe in his head

i have to agree with you hawk muffins. i have no idea why, but it seems all the newgrounders sympathize with a scaly fish man than a family man.
i have no idea if that's saying anything but it's at least interesting.

I've been trying sketchbook pro myself, confusing as hell after photoshop..

and really the only thing i use sketchbook for is the pencil and pen tool, the spacebar navigation and the quick layer manipulation. don't try and take it all in, just hte parts you like ;D

to tell you the truth after i finished this quick guy up i too wanted to do more with him. he's a pretty interesting character if you view him as an over emotional crybaby who has good intentions but looks hideous.
XD nice halloweeeen picture well sad for his family but funny and always cool picture but i didn't know oyu have draw all you're picture;s with you're hand :O o_o a 10/10 and a 5/5 (and this time i like the feet:D)
