Merrid the Cleaveblaster

Share

Boom, CHOP!

Hey guys! I drew Merrid the Cleaveblaster! She's from a long line of Cleaveblasters that take on the most dangerous flora in the galaxy. Here she has brought down a young Beelze-branch. Inside is the very powerful energy source "Psycho Sap" That powers a lot of interstellar engines and weapons including Merrid's mighty Cleaveblaster and armor plating. Cleaveblasters do require a lot of skill to use but sometimes it's needed to get through that super strong Nano-bark that these plants are starting to evolve.

The dangerous plant life started showing up and taking over planets after some eco-friendly scientists designed a way for trees and the like to be a little more active in defending themselves. It of course went awry like these things do and now we need to employ monster plant-hating Cleaveblasters to harvest anything anymore!

Keep on rocket-swinging Merrid and don't let your resolve falter!

Interesting idea and the background, good work on lava, I like it ;)

jouste responds:

cool!

thanks for the comment and the high score! I really felt the background needed a little something more than a flat color.

Wonderful exposition my friend. That weapon is amazing.

jouste responds:

hey thanks!

I know that I'm not the only one to come up with a rocket axe but I do like the idea!

So it's like an evolutionary arms race, but one side clearly kicks more ass than the other? Love it.

jouste responds:

haha you got it!

glad you dig the drawing! thanks for the comment!
