Zounds! The Krakenfish!

looks like a fabled krakenfish has been kaught! Krakenfish are monstrous creatures that twist around the bottoms of the worst lakes in the universe. That doesn't stop them for being extremely delicious and excellent weapon materials. This one has been bested by Walston the Turbine-Talker, a brave hunter who can communicate with engines via casual telepathy.

Walston uses a reliable triple-shot neuro-needler to take out his prey, a well placed shot at an area around the brain is usually enough to bring most beasts down without too much trouble. As long as the spears are buried into the creature they should be clinically "dead" and ready to be processed. Don't worry, Krakenfish are generally jerks and deserve this kind of treatment.
