over a few lunch hours i did up some fan art for Ratfist!
If anybody isn't checking out Doug TenNaple's webcomic be sure to fix that action and get on it!
Doug's stuff has been a huge influence for me ever since i first saw an earthworm jim advert in a game pro in the 7-11 where my dad stopped by after my baseball game when i was about 10 years old.
I can actually distinctly remember trying to explain to my folks how important this earthworm spaceman was and how they seemed to not share in my excitement.
so anyways we are truly lucky that doug is rocking out an incredible webcomic on the internets about an awesome superhero with amazing rat powers. the thing's only like 28 pages and i'm already salivating for the next!
read on everybody because Doug TenNaple is awesome!

Just started reading the webcomic
I had no idea he was the creator of Earthworm Jim, hes is an awesome artist and so are you man. I love this picture Illustration is outstanding. I wanted to ask how you did those halftones around the pictures. It just adds so much and I really would love to do it with my Illustrations. Great job man
hey dude!
the halftones are a simple photoshop filter under filter>sketch>halftone pattern.
take a flattened version of your image and throw that on there, then make it an overlay or multiply or whatever on top of your picture. hope that helps!

i find that my borders really help my quicker illustrations. this one actually involves a lot of story stuff from the comic ;D
