COTND: Tempo Character Concept

Hey Guys!

Here's some more Necrodancer Concept Art! This one is a few ideas on what the character “Tempo” could be. I liked a lot of the ideas here and had fun creating it, initially I started with the middle character design because the character's ability made me think of an evil hunger. We eventually went with the “Unstoppable Experiment” because it lined up with the fiction better.

I like where this is going and I think this great concept art but in my opinion they all can be a little bit more menacing like the experiment be buffer, the hunger more demonic and possibly animal looking, and the reaper a little bit more ghastly, but i do believe these are all great characters.

these guys get crunched down into a pretty small pixel sprite with a quick bestiary image to go along with it. i did try and bring a bit more edge to the final image.
