For my opinion, this model looks really good)))
Seriously)
just me messing around in blender... it's my best model ever as of yet but I'm getting better.
I used photoshop to soften the shading on the face... I hate how blender renders things... or it's just my crappy modeling, I don't know. tell me what you think...
I plan on modeling the rest of the body but for now this is all I got.
For my opinion, this model looks really good)))

STYLE HAS A GRAPHIC N64.
IT'S GREAT
pretty good.
this is a pretty good model. i particularly like the lips for i know that they are very hard to make look good being a blender artist myself. as for making things look smoother i would suggest subdivision surfaces modifier. pressing shift and then O will make one and then you can go into the modifier tab to change the settings. a very useful feature for organic modeling. another thing is the hair. by the looks of it it is modeled with polygons and then had the smooth shader applied to it. this is not a very good way to make hair. i would suggest using the particle hair settings. really it is pretty easy if you modeled your head right. and even if you didnt it isnt too hard. just make sure to use child particles so as to spare your computer and your patience some pain. as it seems you are relitively new to blender all in all a very good job.
nice
really nice, good use of blender
the hair and the nose are a bit too square, but it's really good for blender(witch isn't the best software for human faces, i think.)
maybe a texture in the hair would have made it more realistic and less shiny
btw, could you give me some blender advice?
it's not been long since i'm using it so i'm not really good
my stuff is my userpage if u wanna check
A good start
if the subsurf isn't working you might have to remodel it and make everything into squares and avoid triangles. Also I'm assuming you applied set smooth in the links and materials panel but you should also select your whole mesh and press ctrl + n. This will make sure that all the faces are pointed out; if you don't do this there is a chance that you will get weird rendering artifacts.
