Bereavement Cover

This is a picture I drew a long time ago... It's what I think what will be the cover of a comic I'm writing/ illustrating. It's not final that I will use this but either way I think it's a nice picture.

Medium: Pen... paper if that counts...

Nice and creative

So this was pretty creative work here I really like black and white style here you have some nice detail and the perspective of the view is really nice work, I think adding some borders and or frames and some touch of color would be nice, just a few Ideas I am tossing your way. anyways keep up the good work.

nice!

This one is REALLY GOOD!

Okay!

I like the way you did the background and the lighting (I need to work on my backgrounds myself) The only problem is the guy, (this might just be because I'm o.c.d about this kinda stuff sorry) The body of the character in the middle is off, this could be because of the coat but his arm looks like it isn't really there, and the muscle structure of the torso needs some work as well. The legs are almost right, you just need to show that they are actually hanging off the building a bit more, remember that the placement of the knee can show where the leg is elevated.

JoSilver responds:

... Why does everyone think it's a guy.... ._.

Fantastic!

Dude I totally love the sky scene and the effects you made with ink, nice job!

A good use of ink.

I love it how people can make awesome effects with just the humble pen.

But the shading of the character and the building in front seems just a bit off...

If it's night...shouldn't the front part of his body and face be all...dark...cuz the light is comming from 'behind' him?

JoSilver responds:

It really more of reflects the way I'm drawing the comic... I honestly don't care for shading... I only do shading to add detail and I'm bad at it...
