So if you've noticed my other charcoal drawing you would see that too was another first for me using charcoal. It's almost embarrassing how new I was to drawing with paper having only been digital my entire life. I started animating when I was in 5th grade so that's about around the time I began drawing religiously. But drawing was always for animation and never a hobby I did without that in mind. So as a college freshman I was completely new to so many mediums, sadly including colored pencil.
So what we have here is my first experiment with colored pencil, I believe I had a very limited color palette, I had a pale yellow, red, pink, purple, and pale green and white. And I had to mix and build color pencil layers to create other colors or effects. All in all it was pretty fun :)
