I felt like drawing Zenobia, and as I sketched, the image of of her possibly leaving her crumbling temple for the first time in many many years stuck in my head. Maybe her new mortal lover Leon has convinced her to finally step out into the light, or maybe the temple has just gotten to the point where it's no longer livable, either way, the day has begun and Zenobia, filled with both hope and apprehension, is prepared to enter this bright snow crispened world.
I played with colour and lighting a lot with this image, both when I was drawing it, but also when I had skanned it. I messed with the shading in GIMP a bit, because I wanted the place she was leaving to be a bit darker, a bit more desolate looking.
I also drew her belly paunch insanely big for some reason....
Marked general because those aren't breasts and her pubic tendrils hide her vagina from view.

She looks like a female cthulhu, but in a good way
Yes she was based heavily on Cthuvian and Lovecraftian stories. Thanks for the comment! :D
