I combined Alpha and Third Strike Akuma sprites to make my ideal *raging* asshole. I'm not happy with his face anymore but hey there's always a next time.

I went over what's what for 20 minutes, and found this to be a remarkable piece in every way. I especially love where you changed the waist into a large wrinkle so it would look like the top pic but still fit the bottom pic's pants. I did see one thing while looking so hard, though.
In the top pic, his right hand has a half extended middle finger, like if he had used it too much (like gamer hands or guitar hands). If you made it that way it's perfect.
Detail is great, I also like the use of shade an light.

It's a great enhancement of the original sprites, simplistic but detailed. I always wondered why he didn't have his "claw hand" stance in SF3. I would of liked it more if he did, otherwise he seems even less distinguished from the other shotoclones.
And i think you did pretty good on the face.

I agree with luis, that rope as a belt is quite original, and despite your resentment for the face, you've done an outrageously good job on the whole piece of art.
i always loved the fact that the character has a rope as a belt. It totally matches his tatterred costume. i hate it when its a normal belt in his other ones.
I guess I'd be curious to see what he looked like just frowning. The teeth almost make him TOO enraged.. in his demeanor of the game he always seems like this super serious angry face all the time.
Though to be a true raging asshole, he'd be keying my car outside of Wawa, while hitting on my gal.
Great job on those stilted sandals. It's a really strong remake.

that is a good pic of akuma but the eyes could use a lot more detail
the only thing that i dislike more than the belt, all the rest is fantastic -like the shoes, gloves,the necklace and the body ,awesome -
The only thing i notice, is that his eyes could have been slightly bigger to match the picture slightly better. But lets face it, this is a masterpiece.
Detail is great. Dont stress about the face i think it looks amazing. Great use of lighting and shadow. I think it looks awesome. Great job
This has perfect detail in comparison to the sprite. The lighting is the same, of course it's the same exact position, and over all it is very well done. I like that you took elements from the two different sprites, and how you made the sandals look a
lot nicer than in the sprites.
