a much brighter version of mother nature, when you compare this to the previous pic i made of mother nature

made with colored pencils, ink pens during a long break.
used photoshop for some editing and background!

There's something about this that conveys a repressed feeling of melancholy--some sort of ethereal sadness--that can't be seen just through the figure's doleful and contemplative expression, but through the fragility and the desolation that surrounds her.
