So, I spent about 20-25 hours in sum to draw that guy, it's my first long project in photoshop, and 3-d attempt to draw human-like figure. I hope you like it.
It's my vision of Starcraft zerg Queen of Blades in male form.
Fullsize steps can be found in my scrapbook on deviantart.

(Oops I didn't see this entry ealier...if I know male Kerrigan has already been done I will choose someone else...T_T)

Great pose! and I especially love how you make him hold the Zerg logo like a weapon.

Don't worry. Your artwork looks way better than mine. :-)

I love this concept, King of Blades. It's a cool idea, but i think you could have put some more detail in the left arm and right bicep like you have on the knees and chest. But overall i dig it good luck in the contest

Very solid pose and very good shading although it is lacking a bit if crisp to it. I love the way you drew the anatomy of this creature and how intimidating you managed to make him look, but looking back at the original character, I feel you should've implemented more colour to his body. The background is very well done and contrasts nicely with the main focus, I love the smokey purple-grey sort of look. Keep up the good work! I'm sure Jazza will be very impressed!

joe-4-kerr responds:

Thanks for the review. I didn't know a good way to color character and drew it in grayskale at first. Checked out Jazza's coloring tutorials much later, but still imo it's the best I was able to do at the moment.
