This was a school assignment for my visual arts back-up. I was to study and attempt a piece of art of my choice. I, obviously, chose Team Fortress 2 and decided to mimic the Demoman painting from VALVe's - TF2 team.
I attempted to keep within the Team Fortress 2 style of artwork and I believe I did a decent (not terrific) job doing so - 3 hours and a lot of mistakes later... This is my outcome. Please critique and comment to help me progress in any area(s) that you see visible.

a great piece of art for the one of the best tf2 characters
I do happen to agree with you my good chap. Although, if I were to pick my favourite I would be baffled because they're all too awesome :D
Anyway, thanks man.

Amazing.
Personally I find that the art was very well mimicked, the limbs of the demo man are a little odd, which you copied perfectly. However I agree with bellow. The head sticks out a little, perhaps requiring more shading and the cap is a little too light. But considering this had been completed in three hours. I would have been impressed. Hell, I would have been impressed if it had been done in eight.
Thanks man. Mimicking the head was the hardest part. I tried various sketches to get it but this was the best I came out with.
I also see what you mean with the arm. I hadn't noticed that at first but it is a little out of proportions.

Good, but
the sizes of the lims dosent look very terrific, and the head somewhat dosent really 'fit' in it all, but since this was only done in 3 hours, i say that its a good piece of work, keep it up.
Yeah, the head is definitely a little out of proportion as are the arms. I hadn't noticed before.
Thanks ;)
