I wanted to see this, Paprika and Akira are two movies I really wanted to see. I like the simple design and the contrast in colors, but there is an apparent lack of shading.

Why did you use use a SNES drawing style for an anime movie? This scene in particular is not really memorable, even if it is significant. The movie is colorful and full of imaginative imagery, this has none of that.
