Omg I am finished with my COTM entry for January!
Cut it close but I am really excited about how this turned out. Last contest, I ventured out and tried a lineless/painted approach, but no matter what - even after the extra lining time - I like how the lines turn out.
I wanted to do a Sue Richards/ Invisible Woman piece mainly because I didn't see many entries for her, and I went with The Ultimate Fantastic Four appearance because I honestly just wanted to see her in something different. Originally it was going to be just her yelling at Reed to hurry up so she can take the picture, but then I thought it would be funny to have Johnny bombing his sister's photo.
I also tried my best to keep the illustration somewhere in the realm of their actual behaviors and personalities.
Worked on this in between comic illustrating because I REALLY wanted to do my best with the time I had left after recovering from a stomach virus. This was a fun contest and thanks for the opportunity!
